Delhi Election 2025: A Historic Shift in Power
In a significant political development, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won the 2025 Delhi Assembly Elections, securing 48 out of the 70 seats, marking their return to power after 27 years. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which had been in power since 2015, suffered a major defeat, securing only 22 seats. The Indian National Congress (INC) failed to secure any seats yet again. With this shift in power, the key question remains: Who will be the next Chief Minister of Delhi?

Political Implications of BJP's Victory
With BJP's resounding victory, the party is expected to introduce policy changes that align with its national agenda. Key promises include financial support schemes for women, increased pensions for senior citizens, and urban development projects. The transition from AAP's governance to BJP's rule may bring shifts in education, healthcare, and infrastructure priorities.
What Happens Next?
Following the election results, the BJP's leadership will decide on their Chief Minister candidate. The decision is expected to be announced within a week as internal deliberations take place. The new government formation and cabinet appointments will set the tone for Delhi's governance for the next five years.
